Early season snow had left the clans with little members. An outbreak of untreatable sickness left them to vanurable for comfort. As the lone cat recalled sadly, the sickness had started with a cough. It soon turned into a painful sore throat, which soon swelled until they could breathe no more. It had claimed so many lives, and the lack of prey did not help. The old leader Oatstar had lost his last life because of the disease.
The recently appointed leader would have become a hollow shell of herself. But she was not going to allow herself to do so, she had a clan that needed her to be strong. The ginger cat vowed she would not lose herself to the sorrow that ripped her apart. She would not, she wanted to claw herself just for thinking about it. But now she had something new on her mind. Where in Wishclan were the other leaders?

A dark gray she=cat made her way through the snow grumbling under her breath about how the snow kept sticking to her fur. Darkstar the former leader of Dimclan had lost his last life to a dog weakened by the sickness that had pledged the clans. She had gotten an urgent message that all the leaders were suppose to meet and she did not know why, but she would soon know. In the distance she spotted a ginger shape and she quickened her pace.
"Hello, Sunstar," she meowed greeting the leader of Shellclan with a respectful dip of her head. "Why did you call for all the leaders?" she asked hoping that Sunstar would explain. The more she spent away from her clan the more worried she became.

He hadn't been worried about anything recently. Sickness would claim the weak and take those who were not strong enough to handle the elements presented to them. Let it happen. It was perhaps a bit harsh, but Longstar didn't need any of those around him or in his clan who could not keep up with the living and healthy. Perhaps that was a bit overdramatic...but at the same time, worse had happened. The lean ginger tom stretched out as his maw parted to let a yawn escape. His sharp ivory fangs were revealed. It was apparently time to go meet the other leaders. He had been informed that there was a leader meeting, though what for he wasn't entirely sure.
His paws left melted tracks in the snow. Slightly cold, though it wasn't long before they were numbing and he only felt the ground and none of the cold. His deep and quite fiery amber eyes landed on a ginger she-cat. Already he know who it was. Hello Shellclan leader... The thought made him smirk a little. Compared to this she-cat he was massive. His long lanky body was built for running, though that was no surprise for most Streakclan cats were that way.
And then there was another cat. Dark-gray, and quite the Dimclan smell to her. So Duskstar had beaten him there. Lovely. Dipping his head he placed himself close enough to remain cozy, though far enough away to get in a good swipe should the need arise. "Sunstar, Duskstar..priding yourselves on the early arrival?" His voice was quite sarcastic, and his demeanor was quite at ease. Longstar wasn't too worried. The word of Duskstar asking about the call for leaders brought his ears to a peak. Right,..Sunstar had called this. "Right, let's get down to business ladies. Stormstar can be filled in later perhaps?" He had things to do...waiting for the other leader was quite inconvenient.

Sunstar saw a dark-gray she-cat walk up. It padded with a certain clumsiness as it shook snow off it's fur. It was quite funny to the small leader, any cat who did not like anything wet was an outcast, even, occasionally, called a dry-paw.
Sunstar watched with interest as it continued to make its way through the frost. She found it pointless to reply to Duskstars question, she would have to answer it quite a bit tonight.
She waited as another cat approached, she first thought it was Stormstar but found that it wasn't, and it couldn't possibly be, it was to large. Very large compared to her own small size. It's legs were also long and spider-like, hers were short and stubby, but her polydactyl paws made up for it. The paws were stronger than most, she was the fastest swimmer in all of Shellclan.
When there was no Stormstar, the blue eyed cat decided to answer.
"I want to form an alliance. If we able cats to travel across the lands we can all catch more prey. There is a rising threat I hear of cats making Sparkclan. Our members will only add up to one clan at most."

Duskstar listened to what Sunstar said and at first she didn't know what to say. The Dimclan leader didn't like to make decisions without her clans consent. A memory flashed in her mind of her uncle and her eyes hardened for a minute. "If these cats are like a cat I use to know then I will join," she meowed refusing to tell them more about the cat she was talking about. Because of her uncle her parents and sisters were dead and her brother had to retire early due to an injury that wouldn't heal. She didn't want another cat like that threatening her clan mates she had been the one to take her uncles life but only to protect her clan.

Sunstar was overjoyed when Duskstar said she was joining. The army she was putting together was now two times stronger. She smiled but then remembered. Longstar would possibly be hard to convince, he already seemed in a bad mood.
She turned her icy blue gaze in his direction. They blazed with a passion for what she was doing, yet she knew there was fear in them. She could try and hide it, but that emotion was to strong for her to hide.
"What do you think Longstar. Will you join our alliance."

The ginger tom stared aimlessly at the two she-cats. His gaze was unfocused, much more concentrated on their surroundings then anything. He couldn't help but wonder why they were here. And where was the other leader. Where was Stormstar? It was hard to figure out just what they were doing here. The tom wasn't entirely sure that he cared. And then the small ginger cat spilled her guts. She wanted an alliance? All because of some clan that might arise by the name of Sparkclan? He wasn't too sure he cared. Quite honestly, it was even hard to acknowledge that they would form an alliance.
He wanted to open and speak but before he could there was Duskstar pushing in her share. And then she was in. Longstar held back the want to shake his cranium and give a yowl of disinterest. Join Streakclan in with the others? Absurd. He wouldn't take the easy way out. But then again....Sunstar was looking rather lovely. And to cross a water cat with a wind cat could be quite the thing. Wouldn't that be the talk of the town. Perhaps it was in Longstar's best interest to play hard to get.
Her icy blue eyed star was quickly met by that of his warm fiery orbs. The wind swirled around the group gently, ruffling their fur. Indeed he had control of his powers, but every now and then it was fun to let them fly. Wind was always at his disposal, and the best of it was he could suffocate the fire within Duskstar, and turn the water of Sunstar against her. He stared quiet calmly at the smaller she-cat to his left...Duskstar was not of his concern at the moment.
"An alliance is absolutely absurd. To join the clans together will create havoc. Those of Streakclan would have my head before joining together with those of your clans...." He paused sizing up both of the smaller she-cats. She-cats were generally smaller, giving him an advantage in size. Though he wasn't ready to pull out the guns and fight tonight...if anything it would harm everything more. "My clan will join for now, though don't expect us to stay should it not go anything like it's planned." His voice was touch, monotone. He dipped his head, ready to leave the two sitting without his presence.

The fire in Longstar's eyes was frightning. The ginger cat had always been a little scared of him. He was possibly the largest leader, and he was, indeed, majestic.
Sunstar doubted he would join her, he was often the most feared leader, known for having some stubbornness. Inside she knew he was fair, very level-headed, yet of course, she was not going to call him out on that.
The harshness of his next words did not shock her. She tried to meet his gaze as he sized them down, but being apprentice sized never did help her.
Just about to negotiate when he spoke up, she heard what sounded like a yes. She felt herself get dizzy, then had to catch herself before she fainted.
Then he started to leave. She would call out for him to wait, normally that was the case. But she was so happy she lost her voice. So Sunstar did the first thing she came up with. Lunge on his back, if she made it she would have a good grip, if she missed she would not know. She was so happy it was blinding. She felt herself wondering what is up and down.

The muscles of the large cat rippled under his tight fiery coat. Rather than than streaks of jagged rusty hued colors, his were more swirls. His powerful legs carried few stripes, and his crown a few lateral scraggles down to his eyes. It wasn't hard to see why he was called the leader of his clan. With a regal stature and the political personality that is fitting for one of his status, Longstar had always taken pride in the title he had been given.
He knew that the others would doubt him, and with him joining their small alliance, he needed to get to his clan and explain quickly. Damage control would need to be done. No surprise there. Many would not be happy, and yet some would. He was ready to leave when the sound of paws caught his ears. There was little time to react, he had just turned and with her quick body already launching it wasn't exactly easy for him to avoid the small ginger she.
The instinct was to drop and roll onto his back. Yet he knew she wasn't doing it in a harmful manner. Much like an annoyed warrior training a playful apprentice the tom stopped. Shaking his body lightly he hoped she would slide to the snowy ground. "Should we call you Sunpaw?" His words were a tad playful though quite sarcastic. A smirk pulled across his maw.

Duskstar watched them with an unreadable expression and yawned flicking her ears. "WEll, it seems like Stormstar is as late as usual," she meowed boredly. She had no intentions to have a play battle with the other two leaders. She hadn't played since her and her siblings were kit. She had always prided herself as being the most mature of her siblings. She had lost interest in their play fight and was keeping a look out for Stormstar.

Stomstar ran to where the other leaders were and stopped, huffing. "I'm sorry I'm late! What's going on?" His silver fur was hot with embarrassment. He saw Sunstar, Duskstar, and Longstar arguing about something he knew was going to be very important to hear. He sat patiently, waiting for one of them to answer what was going on.

Sunstar happily battered the other leader with her polydactl paws, at least until she remembered the pair of eyes looking upon her. She barely caught the 'Sunpaw' remark, her focus drawn to her self iflicted embarrasmet.
She heard new paw steps on the frozen ground, and the smell of rotten leaves. Does Leafclan ever wash themselves! She wondered.
Quickly untangling her paws from Longstar's she turned to greet Stormstar. 'You know leaders should put all their pride in being on time.' The ginger cat bit back the remark.
"Your late, I hope nothing is wrong with your clan. We are forming an alliance. All clans are in except for yours to defeat a certain evil rising. Do you care to join?" Or would you rather let your clan die.
